God has a perfect, detailed and accurate plan for each one of us.
Acts 9:6, “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do?
William Barclay said, “The Christian is a man who has ceased to do what he wants what he wants to do and has begun to do what Christ wants him to do.” Billy Graham tells about an occasion when his little 3 year old boy went with him on a fishing trip. As his father was guiding the boat down the river, his boy said, “Daddy, I want to run this boat.” And the father replied, “No, I don’t think you know how to run it.” “Oh, yes, I know exactly how to do it,” the boy said, Billy Graham let his little boy take the steering wheel of the boat and he headed straight for the rocks. This story illustrates our attitude toward God! But the Lord knows that when we try to guide the affairs of our lives without God’s help, we get into trouble.
Just as an architect prepares an accurate and detailed drawing for each new building that is erected under his guidelines and instruction, so God, has a perfect, a detailed and accurate plan for the life of every Christian. It was on the Damascus road that Paul discovered God had a plan for His life.
